In January this year, I told my parents that I would like to be a writer. I thought my mom would rush to arrange a marriage for me with some government office workers so that I could feed myself. Instead, she said, 'You've been working for 10 years while living at home, and your savings are enough for you to pursue a passion.'"

So, I quit my job as a junior high school teacher. From January to April, I spent thousands on literature and writing classes (well, I should have spent on consulting for freelancers, so I could have a writing job by now, haha), and I started writing in May. Overall, I have written 14 articles, only two or three earning one or two claps, most of which have been read by no one.

But I keep writing daily and encourage people to comment. I binge-watch late-night talk shows like Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, and Bill Maher, an 8-minute monologue can inspire me to write down nearly a thousand opinions. At family gatherings, playing with my nephew floods me with so many childhood memories that I am eager to write them down."

Not only do I write, but I also read articles of magazine and like you mentioned, write for readers' needs, their challenges, and offer information. And try to connect with readers and writers (I just downloaded Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook two days ago, but the likes on my dog are way more than my writing, haha).

I have discovered that writing daily gives me the courage to face the dark side in my heart, admit my mistakes and regrets, and appreciate my parents' unconditional love, which I can never repay enough.

Being unemployed, I am a full-time writer, I am so sensitive that I can write about my neighbor's two dogs becoming one since the other one was already playing in the backyard. My life experiences of working and volunteering in the US, Australia, China, Japan, and Guatemala allow me to break down writers' blocks that I never thought about.

Depending on my savings, I will keep writing daily and, fingers crossed, find a writing job. Because of writing, I follow Gen Z's trending topic, social issues in different countries and become empathy for people.I research the videos and articles to write informative writing, comb my memories to write personal narratives, or take advantage of my age to write listicles.

I will keep reading, taking note of good sentences or words, and observing people selling insurance in the MC store. I learn from every moment to keep my mind active and continue writing. Writing teach you life is an unlimited lesson.

I dreamed of being an employed writer, but now I enjoy balancing learning, working, reading, backpacking, and occasional writing. And rapping my heart out!
