When There is Nothing Worth Choosing, then Choose Humanity

I could not imagine the faces of devoted supporters focusing on every word with a clear mind under the podium.
I watched the news and realized in some countries, people were deprived of the right to feel anything but numb after a presidential election, as two candidates practiced their gigs on a stand-up comedy.
How? How could someone put Mexico and the name ‘Si-si’ together? I have no sense of direction, getting lost to the point Google Maps has to restart searching for the place every two minutes, and sometimes cannot find my country on a map.
I was flabbergasted when hearing ‘Mexico’ in the speech about the refugees in Gaza. It’s not like mispronouncing Estonia as Ethiopia, it’s Mexico and Egypt!
The capital ‘M’ might look like Pyramids, but it could not justify such a slip. It is serious.
Practice, practice, and practice more before giving a speech even politics is your whole life.
Furthermore, the guy before you was obsessed with the wall and never stopped raving about the border and Mexico.
If someone wants to prove age is merely a number, they give a thoughtful speech indicating the wisdom accumulated from time. They wave calmly to the supporters and walk in determined steady steps.
They make people forget about the trivial time-passing issue but discuss the meaningful inspirations between the lines in speech.
As for the other one, I knew he didn’t know why the Civil War happened or which country he just bombed, but it was beyond me that someone said WWII ‘will’ happen in 2024. Was Desantis’ idea of banning books contagious memory loss?
I love Seth Meyer’s Late-Night Show- A Closer Look, but even he started digging out the past footage of absurdity to make the current situation look better. (I still laughed at the birds’ cemetery under the windmill…)
Suppose a leading country is developed and built up by all the great people with incredible intelligence and diligence. In that case, I believe it can still be a ‘make any dream come true’ land led by a moral person, who is not the best in any form or shape but at least, he will not deteriorate humanity by gathering the worst immoral minds to a violent strength.
If we don’t have First Aid, we should still help a person pulling out the knife from the thigh, and not stab the other thigh with another knife.
Both actions will not help stop the bleeding, but we can ensure that the first choice can allow him/her to walk with a crutch, with hope for recovery, instead of leaving them bedridden with a hatred for revenge.
